Cookie Policy

Last updated May 27, 2025

Cookies are tiny text files your browser stores when you visit a site. We use them sparingly. This page is the full list of what runs and why.

What we use

Essential cookies

These keep Lovelent working. They can't be turned off without breaking the service.

  • Session — keeps you signed in. Cleared when you sign out or your session expires.
  • CSRF token — protects forms (like RSVP submissions and account changes) from being hijacked by another site.
  • Theme preference — remembers display settings if you've changed them.

Analytics

We use privacy-respecting analytics — no personal identifiers, no cross-site tracking, no third-party ad networks. We measure things like page views, where signups come from, and which features get used, in aggregate. We can't tell who you are from this.

Third-party

When you pay, Stripe sets its own cookies on the payment surface to process the transaction and prevent fraud. SeeStripe's cookie policyfor the full list.

How to manage

You can clear or block cookies in your browser settings. Blocking the essential ones will sign you out and break sign-in, RSVP submissions, and payment.

Do Not Track

We honor "Do Not Track" signals where your browser sends them. We also try to behave as if every browser was sending one — that is, we don't track you across the web in the first place.

Changes

We'll update the date at the top when this list changes.
