Terms of Service
Last updated May 27, 2025
These Terms cover your use of lovelent.com and the Lovelent service. By signing up or using Lovelent, you agree to them. If you're using Lovelent on behalf of someone else (a partner, an organization), you represent that you have the authority to do so.
The service
Lovelent helps you plan a wedding. We give you a website, RSVPs, seating, meals, a day-of timeline, and the tools around them. We are not a wedding planner, a venue, a caterer, or a vendor — we're the software your wedding runs on.
Your account
You need a working email address. You're responsible for keeping that inbox secure, since that's how we sign you in. You must be at least 18.
You can invite collaborators (your partner, your mom, your planner). They get access on your authority and you're responsible for what they do inside your account.
Pricing
Lovelent is free to start. The full plan is a one-time payment of $295 USD, processed through Stripe. That's the price for your wedding, end to end. We don't bill you monthly.
We may change pricing for future signups, but anything you've already paid for stays at the price you paid.
Refunds
If Lovelent isn't right for you, write to uswithin 30 days of paying and we'll refund you in full. After 30 days we can't offer refunds, but you can keep using the account.
Your content, your data
You own everything you put into Lovelent. You grant us a limited, non-exclusive license to host, store, and display your content only as needed to run the service for you. We don't sell it, share it, or use it to train AI models.
When you delete your account, our license ends.
Acceptable use
Don't use Lovelent to:
- Break the law
- Host or send illegal, hateful, or harassing content
- Send unsolicited bulk email from your wedding site
- Scrape, reverse-engineer, or abuse the service
- Resell access without our written permission
- Interfere with another user's wedding
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these rules. If we do, you can still export your data.
Our intellectual property
The Lovelent name, wordmark, design, templates, and code are ours. You get a license to use them as part of the service, not to copy, resell, or rebrand them.
Service availability
We aim for 99.9% uptime but can't promise it. Lovelent is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, to the maximum extent permitted by law.
Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, Lovelent's total liability to you is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim — or $100 if you haven't paid us anything. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages, including missed RSVPs, lost guest data, or anything that goes wrong on the wedding day itself.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Lovelent against claims arising from your misuse of the service, your content, or your violation of these Terms.
Termination
You can close your account at any time fromyour dashboard. We can suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms. If Lovelent ever shuts down, we'll give you at least 90 days' notice and a way to export everything.
Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, USA. Disputes go to the state or federal courts of Los Angeles County — unless your local consumer-protection law gives you a different non-waivable right.
Changes
We may update these Terms. If a change is material, we'll email you at least 30 days before it takes effect. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
